Not every dog or puppy in our program will become a trained service dog. Those that do not enjoy being a service dog are placed in loving homes.
Dogs may be released from our training program because they:
• Have health issues
• May be timid, easily distracted, or unable to resist chasing prey animals.
• May be overly protective.
All of our dogs are important to us. We will only place these dogs into families that will love and cherish them. Many times, a dog is a wonderful companion or pet but does not do well with the responsibility of service work. It is okay, that is not for every dog.
Our organization does not force dogs to work, if it is not to their liking, we understand and provide a good home for them.
Our dog adoption fee is $2,000. These fees help to recover some of the costs, but do not cover the extensive training and veterinary expenses we have invested in the dog.
As always, we place our dogs with the families we think will suit them best, and not on a first come first serve basis.
