The highest level of Commitment. Puppy raisers house the puppy, train them at home and in public. You will be paired with a baby puppy, and guided in creating an amazing, life saving partner for those who have given our country so much. SSSD supports you through this wonderful journey. Yes, it is hard to let them go, until you see the impact they make on their partner's life.
Lab Laps
Lab Laps Volunteers spend a few hours learning how to properly handle a service dog. Then you can join us at our outings and also with experience, be scheduled to take a puppy out on it's own and help them get used to this big wide world.
Community Connections
Our community engagement program aims to educate , support, and provide assistance to those in need with service dogs and pets. We collect food and supplies, give presentations, and generally work to support trauma victims. Join our team and attend community events.
